MAC 184 Duo Fibre Fan Brush Review Price Photos

I recently indulged in some face brushes and managed to get this PRO BRUSH – MAC 184. MAC PRO Brushes are available only at PRO store and in India we just have one in Mumbai and ironically this brush is almost out of stock there.

The first thing you may think is why I choose this brush?

So, here is what I have to say for the damn amazing and multi tasking brush and I hope by the end of post you will agree with me.

Useful For – The reason I picked MAC 184 Duo Fibre Fan Brush is. I love using highlighters and this gives me good control to apply the powder product right in place and with light touch the colour is placed. The brush is equally useful for applying loose powder all over your face. However I use this for highlighters and mostly for blushes which are dead scary in pan – like NARS Exhibit A or MAC Frankly Scarlet. As the brush itself is very light weight and the bristles are scattered in a fan shape the application is very easy.  it doesn’t deposit the colour in one place, it spreads easily with light hand.

Brush Make – The brush is a blend of natural goat hair and synthetic hair. The white bristles are synthetic and black one is natural and doesn’t feel scratchy at all. It is soft and breeze to apply products with this brush.

Cleaning – The brush is easy to clean and dries super quickly. The bristles are tightly packed and you can see in pictures here that it is very flat and not hefty fan brush. I hope I made my point clear by taking pictures from all the sides.

I just spot clean it if am using pigmented blush, else if am using just highlighter I just gently pat it. the product doesn’t stick to the brush as such.

Overall Thoughts

If you are someone who is new to bright and bold blushes and find them hard to use then please invest in good fan brush. It may not look like a must have brush but trust me MAC 184 Duo Fibre Fan Brush is such a multi tasking brush. It will last you ages plus it is good for highlighters and loose powders and to remove any fall out under the eyes.
