Packaging – The powder is housed in simple plastic case with a transparent plastic lid. L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder comes with a round sponge applicator and a mirror (in a compartment beneath the product)

Shade – I got W 5 golden sand, which is one shade lighter for me. I generally prefer going one shade lighter if I am buying face powders or sheer foundations, that helps in lifting up my complexion. The powder has neutral tones, that means its neither too yellow or pink. L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder comes in good 33 shades, so no matter what undertone or complexion you have, you will find a good match. Do not buy more than one shade lighter or it will look ashy.Texture & Formula – Texture of L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder is silky, soft, finely milled and blendable. It blends into the skin instantly. Formula is oil free so people suffering from acne or pimples can try it. I use this product in two different ways, I sweep it lightly with the help of a fluffy powder brush over my face if I am using a tinted moisturizer/ BB cream underneath. Or I use the sponge applicator it comes with to pat and blend the product into my skin, in case I am not wearing anything on my face. Sponge helps to build up the coverage and place product nicely and evenly. Incase of full coverage foundation , I use MAC Mineralize Skin finish as this one can look a bit cakey.Coverage – It provides light to buildable coverage and evens out complexion. It covers minor redness, discoloration and oil easily. I have normal to dry skin so can’t really say as to how well it controls oil. The coverage is better than MAC Mineralize Skin Finish and I prefer using Loreal True Match Super Blendable Powder while going out on a hot sweaty day (With no makeup on).

Staying Power – On me it stays for good 6+ hours, if its a hot humid weather longevity decreases by an hour or so.

I have clicked two pictures one with flash and other without flash. I have used only L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder only.Negative Points –

1. Dry skin girls should apply a good moisturizer underneath or this powder will look patchy or cling on to dry patches.
2. Excess application can end up looking cakey.

Overall Thoughts

Loreal True Match Super Blendable Powder is by far on of the best powders I have tried. I use it for everyday makeup or when I am going out for shopping and don’t want to wear anything heavy. Powder provides light coverage that is very much buildable. Doesn’t look ashy or cakey if applied wisely. One pan lasts a long time. A good product for working girls who don’t have time to do a full face makeup in the morning.
