Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blush Review Swatches Photos

Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blush ($28.57 (around rs.1890 for 4.5 gms) can be purchased through Illamasqua WebsiteShade – Illamasqua describes Tremble as soft, lilac pink. However, for me, it is a soft pink with coral undertones. I like the subtle coral effect in pink shade.

Packaging – The packaging is beautiful and looks classy.The blush is enclosed in a glossy black unique shaped packaging with transparent cover. The shade name is provided at the back. It is bigger than normal blush packagings but contain 4.5 gm of product. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly but it can break if fallen from a height!!Texture & Formula – The texture of the blush is very soft. It is smooth and glides on easily. On touching, I feel presence of silicon as it is really very soft. The blush is finely milled. It blends easily and gels with other products too (highlighter, bronzer)!!

Although, Tremble is a matte blush but it does have slight satin finish that doesn’t make it totally flat. Tremble doesn’t have any fallout; neither it feels chalky.

The formula did not irritate my skin neither clogged pores. I find it suitable for all skin types.Pigmentation – On swatching and in the pan, the blush looks very bold and bright but it beautifully transforms into a subtle pink shade on cheeks. It is decently pigmented and 1-2 swipes imparts good amount of colour on cheeks. It is such a shade that will look good even if overdone.

Staying Power – Tremble stays for about 6-7 hours. However, the effect lessens after around 4 -4 ½ hours.

Overall Thoughts

Tremble is a great matte- or satin-matte blush that will look good on all skin tones. It will show up well on fair to medium skin tone more. The staying power is decent and the pigmentation is fabulous. I love the soft pink flush that it provides. It is suitable for all skin tones and the blush powder is finely milled. It is very soft and has no fallout. I love the way it blends and gives natural finish. However,its limited availability is a major drawback. Also, the packaging is prone to breakage. The closest possible dupe for this blush is Oriflame beauty Perfect blush in Fresh Pink (it is slightly more pink).Although, the quality and formula is totally different.
