If you have been following me for sometime you would know how much I love sheer glossy lipsticks. Even though Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict falls on pricier side I just couldn’t stop myself from getting one and ever since pondering the idea of whether or not to get more. Formula and texture is buttery and that’s what made me fall in love. I have reviewed Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Berry Rose sometime back.

Shades – I am reviewing today – Desert Rose & Red Delight. Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Desert Rose is a beautiful bright Pink that looks too bright on me. I mean its not neon-ish but against my skin tone it looks like one, also it reminds me of Revlon Lacquer Balm Coquette, though more pink and not neon. Red Delight is a beautiful deep red shade, its deep and beautiful, and you know how I love wearing reds. This shade would look amazing on medium to deeper skintones.

Texture & Formula – Like Lakme says these lipsticks have gloss like finish. Both the shades have super glossy and buttery formula. It glides on like a dream and feels really moisturizing. I have dry lips with numerous fine lines, but the color doesn’t settle in them whatsoever. Due to its buttery texture it easily moves out of lips, so one has to either apply a lip liner or be careful.

Pigmentation – Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict lipsticks have sheer to buildable coverage. Overall Thoughts

I am a huge fan of glossy moisturizing lipsticks and Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict is a perfect match. There are 15 shades to choose from and which is quite commendable for a drugstore brand. I really like how the formula is moisturizing and texture is smooth & buttery. Only hitch is the price which is a bit too steep.
