Kiko makeup has always impressed me and I really wanted to try out their base makeup products like foundation & concealer. During my last visit to the store I picked Kiko Liquid Skin Second Skin Foundation. The foundation caught my attention due to its packaging which is like a typical serum foundation – glass bottle with a dropper.
Liquid foundation with SPF 15 that fits like a second skin. The formula’s active ingredients offer many properties: hyaluronic acid helps moisturize the skin, vitamin C and resveratrol help maintain the skin’s elasticity and creatine helps keep the skin soft to the touch.
Kiko Liquid Skin Second Skin Foundation blends with the skin without weighing it down. Thanks to its lightweight and ultra-fine texture, the foundation smoothes on effortlessly and leaves the skin feeling silky. The medium coverage is easy adjustable. The UVB sunscreens help protect the epidermis.
The glass bottle is quite heavy & bulky for 30 ml product.
Shade – I have picked warm beige 110 which is half a shade darker for me. However I mix it with The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops and it works just fine. The shade lighter than this was tad light and I didn’t want to look ashy.
Texture & Formula – The brand claims it to be a light weight foundation which is absolutely true . Kiko Liquid Skin Second Skin Foundation is quite runny and offers semi-matte finish. I love how my skin looks even toned without feeling clogged or heavy. The formula is non-comedogenic and perfect for those with acne prone skin.
Formula is blendable & smooth. I use Sephora Foundation Brush to buff it into the skin. The formula dries quickly and you can skip powder if you have dry skin like mine.
Coverage – Like I said above, the foundation offers sheer coverage in one layer. You can layer it up and get light to medium coverage. It layers up well and feels good.
Staying Power – The foundation stays on for good 6-8 hours on me.
Kiko Liquid Skin Second Skin Foundation is priced at Rs 2300
