What Empowers You? Women’s Day Contest Ft Kama Ayurveda

Good Skin Surely Empowers me …

Time and again there have been a lot of discussions and debates on what actually women empowerment means. And what factors can help boost confidence in women. Empowerment of women can mean different in different parts of the world based on different situations. And confidence in personality is unique to every woman. There are many factors which make a woman confident of herself and take life changing decisions and have full control of her life.

Studies reveal that there are few basic and common factors that help boost confidence in a woman.

Education, healthy diet, good support, focus and opportunity in the field of interest, style and lastly also good skin helps shape a woman’s personality.

Does good skin help in boosting self-confidence?

Having a healthy, clear and beautiful skin is a constant battle for many of them. Often, appearance of a zit breaks down some percentage of self-confidence and this becomes a reason to avoid social interaction.

Self grooming and good skin can easily help one to be true to their personality, contented and happy which automatically boosts confidence. This fact has been proved over a period of time. It is a widely known truth that nobody is at their best if they look like a pepperoni pizza.

Beautiful, clear and healthy skin is not the only solution for building up confidence. Although clear skin makes you feel much better and pushes you further to work on other reasons to improve your life.

There is no age limitation in learning about your skin’s appearance. Learning proper skin care which makes you look the best is an important way of being confident of yourself.

How to make your skin look good and healthy?

It is often assumed that achieving a clear skin is impossible. The secret is to work in maintaining your skin’s health continuously and constantly without any interval. Dry, scaly and itchy skin means skin cells are in trouble and will naturally make the outer surface look rough and unattractive.

Simple steps in skin care procedure can make wonders; everyday wash your face with lukewarm water and light skin cleanser, then when while retaining some water on the skin apply moisturizer.

Years ago acnes and wrinkles were a condition you just had to live with. But now every skin issue can be treated successfully. There are many cosmetics brands which are leading and offering the best beauty products which promises to instil confidence and empower women.

Importantly, brands producing Ayurvedic products have improved women’s life in a natural healing way.

One of such brand is Kama Ayurveda and I swear by couple of their products and how they have transformed my skin. My favorite products would include some of the best sellers from the brand like Kumkumadi Miraculous Fluid, Hand Cream , Rose Lip Balm, Mridul and the list goes on..

When you take good care of the skin, skin will take good care of you. Good skin not only makes you look beautiful on the outside, but also makes you glow and look happy from inside.

So on this Women’s Day I am giving a chance to TWO of my readers to try out some of my favorite products from Kama Ayurveda. Each winners will receive a hamper with following products – Jwalini Retxturising Skin Treatment, Mridul Soap-Free Face Cleanser & Rose Lip Balm.

“Love yourself” this is what empowers me always.. .. I know I’m not perfect but I still love myself and believe that I’m so blessed. We live in a society where “fair is beautiful” and “dusky is ugly”… you know everyone around me believes it and I have been “taunted” many a times for my dusky medium complexion. All this bothered me but I never lost my confidence because there were beautiful souls around me-My dad and mum who gave me the confidence and strength.

I have learned one thing in life.. if you want to believe what others think about yourself then believe “best people of your life” just like I believed my dad.

Happy women’s day everyone. Be Blessed! Be Awesome! Be Positive!

Information empowers me. Knowledge. You can hug me, praise me, love me, talk to me, but if I don’t understand what’s going on, I’m lost and miserable. You cannot comfort me unless I have information to process. For me, the head rules and always has. It is how I have survived and how I continue to live in a world full of danger.:-)

What empowers me is my belief in Feminism. The idea that of all the things, my gender has to be the absolutely last determining factor (if at all) regarding that the choices that I make. That and my borderline feminist mother, are the two things that always make me shoot for the stars.

Everything that I’m against weakens me and evrything that I’m for empowers me. It is my passion for my life that empowers me. It is the speed to rush through the crowd of lives around me that empowers me. My name,my life, rather it is “I” myself who empowers me. 🙂

In a world that is dominated by men, sometimes it is hard to be seen and make our mark.. What empowers me is knowing that I have the power to cause change. As a teacher it is not only my duty to impart knowledge but also inspire my students. Knowing that I have gotten students who previously hated chemistry, to start enjoying it, makes me feel so happy. I am giving back to society, I am contributing to the future. This truly makes me feel like a woman who has achieved it all.
The truth is I hated chemistry in school. I have come a long way in life to be able to teach the same subject with such ease now. Knowing that I have the capacity to achieve anything I want, that is what makes me feel empowered.

Thank you for hosting this wonderful contest.

My ability to act on what I believe, without being retrieved by age-old norms and barriers, empowers me. It may have made me included in the bad books of many preachers of these age old norms and regulations,in the name of tradition specifically meant to be followed by women, but I am simply unmoved. I believe in my education and my way of thinking, I have faith in myself and this empowers me.

I have followed all the rules

I think if we have a positive thinking and we always believe that we can do anything then our confidence will automatically develop and will become our strength. In my case also my faith in me that I can do anything and can be the best is what empowers me. 🙂

The self confidence to face the so very challenging world empowers me the most. It helps me to be what I am rather than what is always socially acceptable. Error is human nature but to accept it and work towards rectifying it is what I feel is the path to empowerment. Hence with each mistake you become more strong.

Just discovered your blog by chance and I love it!

I recently moved to India and have been struggling with making peace with the way women are sometimes treated here. Then I see things like your blog post that give me hope and make me realize that it’s just a matter of time.

I feel empowered by the community. It’s reassuring when you realize that a whole group of people, who share your interests, ideas and opinions are there to support you when hit the inevitable self doubt point.

Love empowers me. It is really an all encompassing emotion. It is limitless and pure and wholesome. It is real. It is found in relationships, food, books, conversations, nature, pets, plants…. I associate this emotion with material things, and thoughts. With lessons learnt after the tears have been shed. With selfless acts. With love for self. And with empathy for a stranger. Love is all around us and if we open our hearts to this feeling, we become unfettered, empowered…..

Just being a woman empowers me as a woman inspires a lot of people around her. A WOMAN has patience and is forgiving and extends UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. A woman. she juggles tasks, takes care of everything, makes the world a perfect place to live in and while doing so many tasks each day; doesn’t ever forget to shower her special HUGS & KISSES for her kids! Indeed a woman is rightly called a SUPERWOMAN in the true sense! She has Acceptance, Understanding & Appreciation in the most appropriate proportion to enhance her PERSONA and flaunt the BEST IN HER. A woman is INTENSE with a TINT OF MYSTERY to make others curious and interested in her. Her influence INSPIRES her near and dear ones.

what empowers us is faith , hope & love. these are gifts of the divine in everyone’s life. some choose to use these gifts while others choose to keep them in closet.

No matter what circumstances we are in, what deep difficulties we face – one thing is for certain that things changes.. So every next day is a day of new Hope.

Along with hope.. if we have faith that it will work out for us someday and be filled with Love – Things actually take a positive turn..

same goes for beauty -Have the faith that you will improve, feel loved & this hope will take you to heights…

I feel the most empowered when I surround myself with like-minded people. It’s there where ideas, hopes and dreams are made from, and instead of just thinking about them, the good people in your life will help motivate you to make them come true! .second, realizing even in a bad situation, my reaction and attitude were my own choice. That has been incredibly empowering and liberating. I am grateful every day for what I have and I see challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth. What you go through grows you
