Shine/ Glossy finish is back in the season and I am started enjoying them these days ! I am into lip glosses so a lipstick with gloss finish is perfect for me. Also I have forever dry lips, and matte-obsession has left me with a desert-mouth so to show some mercy, I have switched lipstick formulas and wearing balm like glossy finish lipstick from Givenchy Rouge Interdit Vinyl Lipstick range. I am so in love with Givenchy Fuchsia Illicite which is perfect spring/summer shade.

Enhance your lip look with Givenchy’s Rouge Interdit Vinyl Color Enhancing Lipstick. This unique formula is infused with black rose oil, a rare and precious active ingredient that delivers extreme moisture and comfort to the lips for hours. It is combined with a silicone resin that forms a shiny, thin, and supple film on the lips’ surface for a second-skin feel. Lips are left with a “vinyl” radiance and a filling effect: lips instantly appear fuller, smoother, and denser. Packaging is classy. A grey-black cuboid case, you pull out the lipstick with the help of the ribbon at the bottom. Case looks classy and really beautiful !

Shade – Givenchy Fuchsia Illicite is a bright fuchsia, which is a color I love ! The shade would suit all skintones especially medium-deeper complexions. Due to the sheerness of formula it doesn’t look too bold and can be worn everyday.

Texture & Formula – Balm like texture with an intense moisturising formula. I can see my lips looking plumper and smoother than they look without any lip product on. I have numerous lip lines and this formula makes them disappear ! The finish is glossy & not slippery. It feels comfortable and stays on without feathering. Givenchy Fuchsia Illicite has black rose oil that nourishes lips and keeps them soft even when the formula wears off.

Pigmentation – It is semi sheer, which means 2-4 coats of product to get intense color.

Staying Power – On my dry lips Givenchy Fuchsia Illicite Rouge Interdit Vinyl Extreme Shine Lipstick stays on for good 4+ hours and leaves a slight tint behind.
