Forest Essentials Lavender & Neroli Light Day Lotion (Rs 1595 for 30 ml) available OnlineEver since weather got humid, I started searching for a moisturizer that is light weight yet moisturizing. I have used Forest Essentials Indian Rose & Marigold Light Day Lotion and loved it. The only thing that stopped me from buying it again was the price !

Forest Essentials Light Day Lotion is a silky light weight lotion that steeps into the skin easily leaving it soft and smooth with a non-greasy feel. It contains Ayurvedic herbs like Ashwagandha and Gokharu along with Almond, Wheat germ and Olive oils which not only provide nourishment but also prevent the skin from the damaging effect of free radicals. Regular use of this light day lotion helps your skin to retain its natural texture by repairing the damaged cells and giving an even toned skin with the light fragrance of Lavender and Neroli.

Packaging is luxurious looking golden pump bottle that is pretty sturdy. It pumps out right amount of product each time. I use 1 or 2 pumps based on the weather and how dry my skin feels. Forest Essentials Lavender & Neroli Light Day Lotion is for oily to combination skin and hence a perfect non-sticky overly moisturizing formula.It has a light fragrance that is pleasant and not pungent like regular herbal formulas . Lavender & Neroli Light Day Lotion is light weight, non-greasy and doesn’t look shiny. However it keeps my face soft and supple throughout the day without the need of reapplying it.  Also Lavender & Neroli Light Day Lotion comes with SPF 30 which is a must for me in a day cream.

Formula doesn’t aggravate acne and I have never broken out while using it.

Forest Essentials products are free of harmful chemicals & preservatives that is what makes me going back to them. Only gripe is that its not a see-through bottle and you can’t really know when you run out of the product. Also brand keeps on increasing the price. Last year it used to retail for Rs 1395, this time I bought it for Rs 1595 ! Its pretty steep
