I was looking for a light day time lotion. Forest Essentials is a brand I always wanted to get my hands on as I have been trying to avoid harmful chemicals in my skincare regime. Not to forget that 100% natural products come with a price tag be it KAMA or Forest Essentials.
As per Sales girl’s suggestion I got Light Day Time Lotion for Dry skin. Texture of Lotion is really light and it just blends into skin immediately. It doesn’t leave any shine or residue and keeps skin moisturised for up to 5-6 hours. It has a strong floral fragrance and I love it, its refreshing!
Product comes in a golden luxurious pump packaging. I use one and a half pump for my face and neck. It spreads easliy so you wouldn’t need too much.
What I like
- Non sticky light formula which sinks in to the skin in seconds without leaving any shiny/ greasy feel behind.
- Made of 100% natural ingredients and is free from petrochemicals, animal products, PEGs, synthetic colours, alcohol and parabens.
- Contains SPF 25.
- Luxoriuos Pump packaging which is light and travel friendly.
- It has refreshing floral fragrance of rose water.
What I Dislike
- Price . Rs 1375 is too high for 40ml.
- It will not work for my dry skin during winters. I still feel the need of reapplication after some time.
Overall Thoughts
A 100% natural, light day time lotion which sinks into the skin quickly. It doesn’t make my skin oily, shiny or greasy. It contains spf 25 and that’s a huge plus for me since I hate layering up products during the day. Talk about the downsides and price hits me the first. Also it may not work for me during winters or dry weather.
