Packaging- Elle 18 Color Pops Lipsticks come in a cute black plastic lipstick bullet with a twist up bottom. The shade name and number are printed on the bottom of the lipsticks. However, these are prone to breakage and melting.

I have 3 shades which are as below:Shades– I have Elle 18 Color Pops in Pinken, Peach kiss and Coral Shine.

Peach kiss: The shade is a muted pink with slight brown undertones. It is a great shade for everyday wear and can be an MLBB shade for many.Pinken: This is a very pretty pink having light peach undertone. The shade is very girly and wearable to college and office.Coral Shine: Coral Shine is a gorgeous soft coral shade. It is warmer and looks good on all skin tones. The shade can be worn with many looks and suits all skin tones.Texture & Formula- The texture of Elle 18 Color Pops lipstick is smooth and creamy. It glides on easily. The presence of cocoa butter makes them glossy. The formula is moisturising and hydrating. It has some different kind of fragrance that is a mix of bubble gum and chemical. It feels nice sometimes and sometimes, it is very weird. Elle 18 Color Pops lipstick settles to satin finish. All the shades are shimmer-free. They don’t settle in the lip lines neither accentuate them.

Pigmentation- All the shades are decently pigmented. Since, they have a balmy core; the shades do come sheer in first swipe which can be built up to full coverage. Also, they don’t accentuate the skin undertone and brighten up the face.

Staying Power- Elle 18 Color Pops Peach Kiss and Coral shine stay for about 3 hours maximum on my lips while Pinken has a lesser staying power for about 2-2.5 hours. They fade evenly and don’t leave nay tint behind. However, they are very hydrating and make my lips soft and supple even after they wear off.

Overall Thoughts

Elle18 has wide range of shades for all ages and the formula is good. These are reasonably priced and can be worn to office, college as well as for daily wear. The staying power of the shades is average but they do perform well in all areas and can be re applied. I highly suggest trying out some shades from Elle18.
