Clinique Pink Pop Cheek Pop Blush (Rs 2350)

I love blushes and Clinique Pink Pop Cheek Pop Blush was always on my wish list. During my last visit to Clinique Store the MUA demonstrated it on me and I so much loved the shade & formula that picking it was instant reaction. Clinique Cheek Pop has 12 shades , but I am not sure how many of them are available in India. You can check out other shades – Ginger Pop & Berry Pop as well.

Packaging is really pretty ! Infact its not the packaging but the embossed flower on the blush is that looks cute. Blush comes in a clear plastic case. The embossing takes some time to fade.

Vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless. In a silky smooth, stay-true formula with shades for every skin tone. That just-pinched look, simply effortless.

Shade – Initially I thought Clinique Pink Pop blush would be way to light for me , but when applied it looked so natural and pretty ! I was more interested in picking Plum Pop but this one looked like a natural flush of color and is perfect for everyday wear. I can apply it without thinking twice about it being too noticeable. You can control the intensity of the color by layering the product.

Texture & Formula – The blush has a beautiful satiny texture. The sheen is quite visible but not glittery. It gives a healthy glowing looks to the whole face/ makeup. I don’t apply highlighters on a daily basis (or during the day) and neither shimmery blushes work for me, so a blush with a satiny sheen is perfect. Formula is neither powdery nor creamy. When you touch it, the formula similar to a powder blush but it gives an illusion of cream blush with no fall outs or powdery-ness.

I like to sweep it across my cheek using a small dense blush brush that way I can control the application. It applies evenly without the need of too much blending.

Pigmentation – Pink Pop is quite pigmented. This shade would suite almost all skintones except for very dark complexions. I don’t have to layer it much and the color pay off is beautiful.

Staying Power – On my dry-combination skin it stays on for good 6-7 hours with little fading.
