Clinique Cheek Pop Blush has recently launched in India and is astonishingly priced but then the quality and packaging of these cute little round pans are so adorable that it is hard to ignore them. They launched four shades all over the globe but in India only 3 were available, I picked two – Ginger pop and Berry pop. These two shades I find were good enough for my medium NC 40 skin tone, peach pop will look more beautiful on someone who is around NC 30 – 35.
Packaging – Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes comes in small round sturdy plastic pack with embossed flower pattern which looks absolutely stunning and stays pretty good for 5 – 6 usage and then starts to even out.
Shade – GINGER POP is warm toned bright brownish coral shade with soft satiny sheen to it and is finally milled; looks almost like a cream blush in pan, it adds that luminous sheen to cheeks which you see in cream blush. On my NC 40 skin tone it shows up nicely with little bit of layering and looks stunning against my warm colouring, pairs really well with any lipstick easily. I find this shade will work on all skin tones – cool or warm.
Texture and Formula – I find Clinique Cheek Pop Ginger Pop a little stiff in nature and hence I have to use my brush vigorously to pick the colour. The other shade I have is soft as compared to this; it could be the default batch also. There are no cons for the texture as such but I find it takes a little effort to pick this colour for this particular shade.
Pigmentation – Clinique Cheek Pop Ginger Pop is decently pigmented and needs a little bit of layering due to little stiff texture.
Staying Power – It stays good for 6 plus hours without fading and luminous sheen doesn’t make me look or feel oily.
Overall Thoughts
I liked Clinique Cheek Pop Blush Ginger Pop but the texture is not as smooth as I had read o some foreign blogs, still it is easy to blend and build, the pigmentation is good and the powder is finally milled.

Great review! Blush is a recent addition to my routine but now I don’t know how I lived without it! The packaging on this is so beautiful, and even though the colour is darker than I normally wear, I think it would probably work in the summer when I have more of a tan.
