Coral has been my favourite shade for all seasons and this shade is such a unique one as it is a mix of coral, pink and neon effect that is very eye catching. It is subtle yet noticeable.Shade – Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick Fraise Remix is a stunning shade of coral with red-pink tones. It has slight neon effect in it which isn’t overpowering. The lip colour is sans any shimmer or sheen.

Packaging – Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick Fraise Remix come enclosed in a glossy black packaging with ‘Rouge Edition’ written in orange-red and hot pink. A shade indicator along with the shade number is at the bottom which helps in locating the lipstick easily.The packaging feels classy and is very sturdy.

Texture & Formula – The lipstick has a creamy texture. It feels soft and glides on smoothly. The formula is light weight and moisturising but it isn’t very much hydrating.It provides glossy finish to lips which settles to matte finish after 2-3 hours.

Pigmentation-Fraise Remix is insanely pigmented and one swipe imparts enough shade to lips for coverage which can be built up to opaque coverage in another swipe. It doesn’t bleed even if over applied and stays comfortable on lips. The shade is a great option for those having pigmented lips as it does make the outer lip area appear black.

Staying Power-I am highly impressed by the staying power of this shade. It stays for about 5-6 hours on my lips leaving behind a strong coral tint that also looks gorgeous. It fades evenly but the tint goes away with a proper cleanser.

Overall Thoughts

Bourjois has always been my favourite brand with the products it offers. The rouge edition has a huge array of shades to suit all skin tones. I loved rose neon and this is my next favourite. The finish is amazing and the formula is fabulous. I like the shade as it is bright yet not over the top. It will suit all skin tones.

It is light weight and offers full coverage. Also, the staying power is amazing. My main grudge is the ever increasing price tag. Other than that, these are simply great lipsticks.
