Packaging – I like the packaging that is attractive and sturdy. Olay Total Effects Day Cream with Touch of Foundation has a champagne colored cylindrical bottle with a black pump dispenser and transparent cap. The bottle is travel friendly and doesn’t spill.
Texture & Formula – The cream has a very pleasant texture that is smooth and spreads easily. It is moisturising and hydrating. I had a dry patch on my skin which got finished after I started using this. My skin feels soft and healthy when I use this. Olay Total Effects Day Cream with Touch of Foundation provides a soft, dewy finish to skin.
The formula is light weight and didn’t break me out. It has a pleasant fragrance that isn’t overpowering. It is water resistant but can leave marks on object in humid climate.
Pigmentation – Olay claims that this cream has a touch of foundation. However, I would call it a tinted moisturiser as it provides very sheer coverage, just a bit of evenness, clean look to face. It doesn’t hide or blur any imperfections or scars.
Staying Power – Olay Total Effects Day Cream with Touch of Foundation stays for about 4-5 hours on my combination-oily skin after which I can see my T-zone a bit oily. Also, it is pink toned so my face looks a bit ashy after few hours of wear.
Overall Thoughts
This is the first time I have tried a proper anti-ageing product. I don’t have noticeable fine lines, wrinkles, etc. but my skin feels soft and nourished after using this. Olay Total Effects Day Cream with Touch of Foundation is tinted which adds evenness to face and provides a nice glow. All over, it is a bit pricey but a nice tinted moisturizer with added benefits.

I use this for my ‘weekend face’ rather than foundation. It gives a nice light coverage without that heavy ‘made up’ feeling. The color is perfect for me. 🙂
