The Body Shop British Rose Eau De Toilette Review

I was so excited when the British Rose range from The Body Shop was launched in India. I was quite excited and very eager for it. And Rose being one of my favourite fragrances in the world just added to the excitement. I do not like very strong fragrances. I prefer floral or slightly fruity ones. The only exception to the rule is vanilla. Rose is one of those fragrances which wouldn’t make you or the people around you feel suffocated in the strong scent. Especially in closed or smaller spaces. Rose on the other hand is one of those fragrances which gives a relaxed effect to the senses. The moment I smelled this range, I knew I had to get it. I went ahead and bought the The Body Shop British Rose Eau De Toilette, Shower Gel, Body Scrub and Body Butter from this range.

One of the main reasons I got them all was because obviously I couldn’t resist, but more than that it is because I also felt using the whole range will help me retain the fragrance for longer. And trust me it worked!!!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Packaging – The Body Shop British Rose Eau De Toilette comes in a transparent glass bottle with a firm glass cap. The bottle looks so beautiful and luxurious. The packaging is quite durable and the product stays put inside and doesn’t leak. I have travelled with it and so far no mishaps. It has a nozzle on the top which helps in dispensing the perfume.

The perfume is in a light pink colour and the whole feel of the bottle feels so attractive. I for one; love products in attractive packaging.

My Experience

From my first sniff I was madly in love with the fragrance. The fragrance obviously smells of rose, but it is very feminine and feels luxurious. As in, you will feel very graceful and cosmopolitan wearing it. It is not a very strong fragrance. It is the best for everyday were and especially in the summer, spring and the monsoons.

It feels very fresh and refreshing in the gloomy weather. By itself the fragrance lasts on me upto 3 hours after which I need to reapply. But when I use it with other products from this range it definitely stays on for a few more hours. I love using all the products from this range in this weather coz it’s so gloomy these days. This fragrance refreshes me and makes me feel fresh and awake.

Overall Thoughts

I am totally in love with The Body Shop British Rose Eau De Toilette. And I am completely sold out on this range. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves rose and floral fragrances. Especially for everyday wear in this gloomy weather. Love it.
