The Body Shop has recently launched British Rose Collection, which was much awaited. I love rose scented products specially when they don’t have that artificial headache inducing fragrance. I attended the launch event of British Rose range and was bowled over by the fragrance and gorgeous packaging !

Also The roses used for the British Rose has been organically cultivated in the farms without harming the nature. Organic roses are hand-picked, air-dried and then infused.

I have 3 of the products from this range and have been using them continuously ever since they were gifted to me. In general I love body shop bath products, they are of high quality.

The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel (Rs 450 for 250 ml)

I am so in love with the scent of this shower gel ! It comes in a pretty see through bottle with a flip top cap. The gel lathers up well and doesn’t make skin dry or parched. It leaves a mild rose scent behind which lingers on for sometime. I can see myself using this shower gel this summer as the scent is so refreshing and perfect for this hot humid weather !

The Body Shop British Rose Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub (Rs 1295 for 200 ml)

The black tub with rose printed on the lid looks classy & luxurious ! The gel contains dried organic roses that add such a nice & mild scent to the scrub. The gel has lots of fine granules and perfectly exfoliates body without adding any greasiness to it. It washes off easily as well. I like using it generously, after the shower gel and it takes care of any dry patches.

Only downside is that it is not packed with exfoliating particles which means you might need more than required amount to get the exfoliation done properly. Any ways, it depends person to person, I like my body scrubs to be packed with granules.

The Body Shop British Rose Body Butter (Rs 1095 for 200 ml)

For me this is the star product from the range. The Body Shop British Rose body butter has a beautiful whipped texture and it feels so light on the skin ! I love how nice it smells and fragrance stays on for a long time! It moisturises my dry skin without feeling sticky or greasy and keeps it soft and supple throughout the day.

If you have very dry skin, like I do, the reapplication on drier body parts like legs & feet is inevitable.

Overall Thoughts

The Body Shop British Rose range has something for every rose scent lover. The fact that its made os organic roses without harming the nature, makes it worth each penny. The products come in decent sizes and will last a long time even if used daily. I would love to pick the EDT soon.
