Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison Liquid Lipstick Review Swatches

Anastasia Beverly Hills is famous for its brow products and we have shared some in the past here. Today I’m sharing Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison Liquid Lipstick which launched sometime last year and made quite a news across the globe with the extensive selection of colours . As I was not too keen since there were mixed reviews, I picked just one shade – ALLISON, which is very famous among makeup lovers if you see Instagram.

Shade – ALLISON, like I said is very famous shade amongst plethora of shades they offer, reason being, it is universally flattering and will look good on any skin tone. ALLISON is warm dusty mauve pink shade with brown undertones to it, very flattering on all skin tones as you can see in pictures.

Pigmentation & Texture – Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison has superb pigmentation, covered every bit of corner in single swipe and dried down to matte finish in just a few seconds. The texture is not runny, it is thick but spreads well with nicely designed wand which gives even application. I love the packaging of ABH, they look so classy.

Staying Power – It has good staying power but felt too drying and uneven after 4 hours, plus started to look gross if I had any oily food. I find CP Ultra Satin have more staying power as compared to these plus they are not drying. I wonder this review is for ABH and not CP…. Weird.

Overall thoughts

I wanted to try their liquid lipsticks and hence picked this very famous shade “ ALLISON” and am glad I picked just 1 and resisted myself . Anastasia Beverly Hills Allison is not one of the greatest textures available in market to try. I prefer Colourpop Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick any day over these and highly recommend them . This is okay but not worth any pain you go through to acquire them in India, too drying and needs special attention.
