I started my beauty journey with couple of affordable makeup brushes like ecotools & bare Essentials, however for some reasons I never actually picked any from Vega. I used to read mixed reviews all the time and that might have kept me from trying anything from that brand. Couple of months ago I was at Pacific mall, ghaziabad and saw one small pop-up shop of Vega brushes, which of course attracted me instantly. I looked at couple of brushes and the pne that intrigued me the most was this Vega Deer Foot Brush, which is from the professional brush line.

I was looking for a brush for under eye concealing, and the shape of this brush looked perfect. Its fluffy & angled from the top, which helps to reach the under eye area conveniently even for setting it with powder.  I have small eye lids so haven’t really found it of much use in that area however if you have large lids, this brush can work really well for blending eye shadows.

As always the issue is shedding. Vega Deer Foot Brush sheds all the time, whether I am cleaning it or applying product with it, I can always see 2-3 bristles on my face. At this rate, if I use it regularly, there wouldn’t be any hair left on the ferrule .

Brush bristles are quite soft and comfortable to work with, They look like natural hair, however can’r confirm anything since there is nothing mentioned on the website or the packaging.

Overall Thoughts

A multi purpose brush that can be helpful for eyeshadow as well as concealer application and blending. The design of Vega Deer Foot brush ensures smooth application without streaks. My only concern is the shedding of bristles which isn’t alarming yet bothersome. Vega brushes are easily available online as well as in stores.
