The Body Shop has recently launched Oils of Life Range which is based on pure extracts of 3 precious Seeds oil – Black Cumin, Camellia & Rosehip. The Body Shop Oils of Life Range consists of – Facial Oil, Water Essence, Oil Cream & Gel Cream. The products are beautifully packed, especially the facial oil.
I am testing out two of the products from the range – Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil & Cream. My skin is dry but sensitive & acne prone, so not all oil based products work well for me. But I love using facial oils specially during winters when no amount of cream works on dry patches.
Oils of Life Intensely Revitializing Oil comes in a red-yellow glass bottle with a dropper. The oil has a dry consistency , which means it quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving sticky or shiny residue behind. As per the directions you can use it twice daily, however I use it only in the night. 3-4 drops are more than enough to cover my face & neck. It moisturizies my skin overnight and prevents it from getting dry & flaky during the day. So far its doing a really good job at moisturizing my skin, rest I will have an updated & detailed review by the end of next month. The oil hasn’t caused break outs. Infact a dry patch on my nose & around mouth has almost vanished.
Due to its non-sticky consistency it will work for all skin types, you just have to adjust the quantity according to your skin type/ needs.
I picked cream over gel because in winters my skin tends to get very dry & flaky. I thought it will be heavy & greasy but to my surprise the texture is light weight & non-greasy. I don’t even need a pea size amount and its more than enough for my face & neck. Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Cream has a rick yet non-greasy formula which works like a magic on dry skin. I use it with facial oil in the night time. However I have to reapply it after 5-6 hours , when my skin starts getting dry again.
The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Cream & Facial Oil (Rs 2095 & 3095)
These are my thoughts on both the products from The Body Shop Oils of Life range after using them for a week. I will have a detailed review up after testing them for couple of weeks.

This product looks very promising. What were the ingredients? TBS rarely makes products without parabens and sulphates.
Great review?
