The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist Review

The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist (Rs 945 for 100 ml)The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist Review (2)The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist Review (3)PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Escape to the valley of roses. A light spritz infused with Atlas Mountain Rose. This bright, dewy blend of floral accords was inspired by dawn in a field of blossoming roses.

  • Floral scent
  • Light and refreshing
  • Layer with other Atlas Mountain Rose products to build the fragrance

Last month I went on to buy Moroccan Rose Body Mist, which I was using for over 3 months and it was about to finish. I really love The body Shop Body Mists for their quality, staying power and travel friendly packaging. I was totally shocked to see that they have discontinued previous fragrances and changed the packaging entirely ! As if these changes weren’t enough they have hiked the prices too !!The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist Review (1)As per the SA Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist  was the new version of Moroccan Rose Mist. Though I found the fragrance rather dull. I love mild rose fragrant products as it feels feminine and fresh.

Fragrance is not too sweet and stays on well for good 4-5 hours on me. Staying power may vary based on how much one sweats and body odor. I don’t use it daily but always prefer it over perfume while going out. When you spray on, the fragrance feels intense, but after a minute or so it tones down a bit.The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist Review (4)Packaging is pretty feminine and fragile. It comes in a slender glass bottle and white (It looks like aluminium to me :/ ) cap. I am not fond of glass packagings when it comes to body mists or sprays since it makes them oh-not-so-travel-friendly !

What I like

  1. Mild rose fragrance, which is very feminine and fresh.
  2. Doesn’t irritate most sensitive of skins, I just can not tolerate Deo sprays no matter how gentle the formula may be.
  3. Stays on for good 4-5 hours !

Disappointments

  1. Glass bottle / Packaging
  2. Price, earlier these 100 ml bottles use to cost Rs 675

I will keep on repurchasing these body mists till I find an equally good alternative in other brands. Hiking the price may push me towards Bath & Body Works which is quite known for its amazing mists !!
