It’s the End of Colour as you know it!
The intense rich colour of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine. It’s neither a lipstick nor a gloss… It’s BIGGER than both!
Packaging – It comes in a tube packaging and has a wand with a sponge tip similar to lipgloss packagings. Applicator picks and spreads the product easily.
Shade – Nova is a bright blue based pink. Its one color I wouldn’t wear on those bad skin days, when my skin discolouration is on its peak ! I wore it couple of times before reviewing and there were days when it looked good, and on some days it washed me out.
Texture & Formula – Rimmel Apocalips looks like a liquid lip color/ lipstick to me. Its pretty pigmented and thick. Nova is a matte color with no shimmer or glitter. It has a satiny finish, so there wouldn’t be too much glossiness going around. Formula isn’t drying and feels quite comfortable. Though after sometime when the formula sets, it starts highlighting dry patches and fine lines. Its a big turn off for me since My lips have numerous fine lines.
Pigmentation – Nova is pretty pigmented and covers lip discolouration evenly. You can layer it on to build up the opacity.
Staying Power – Once set, it doesn’t transfer much. It stays on me for good 4 hours with meal in between. Though after meals it fades a bit. It doesn’t feel uncomfortable but yes you might need to reapply it after 2 hours, since the color gets bit uneven.

Overall Thoughts
A decent budget product if you love bright shades.Rimmel Apocalips comes in 8 shades to choose from and if you love bright shades, Nova would be a good option. Formula is non drying however if you have chapped lips, exfoliating them beforehand is highly recommended. Only downside is availability, you can try asos since it provides free shipping worldwide. Would I buy more shades? may be not since settling up in fine lines is a big turn off for me.
