I have read rave reviews of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream all over the net and wanted to give them a shot. They are considered to be matte lip cream, bilss for dry lips … the only blunder I made is ordering wrong shade … Now I understand that even after looking at dozens of swatches on various blogs one can easily order a wrong shade .. *sob* *sob*

I have to make this work because I loved the fact that NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is super creamy and moisturizing. I don’t even have to apply a lip balm underneath. Only challenge will be wearing NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream alone would not be possible as it settles into fine lines .. It comfortably stays on for 4 hours when you don’t eat anything

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Abu Dhabi doesn’t look good on me, maybe this shade would suit fair skintones. Packaging is travel friendly and easy to apply. Color of the tube represents the shade inside. So if you are planning to buy more than one shade, finding a shade from stash wouldn’t be difficult.

Would I repurchase : May be No, even if i could find out a nice shade because it settles in thousands of fine lines on my lips..
Would I recommend NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Abu Dhabi : Yes if you have smooth lips and looking for something which doesn’t dry and crack them up. My ratings : 3/5

@Bee – Think and see the swatches on the net 100 times before deciding on a shade@Zara – U knw what you can apply a decent lip gloss on top .. that's how I made it work for me

@anamika – The lip color doesn't match with the packaging … its not exactly mauvish .. It's 2-3 shades lighter than the tube
