Shade – NYX Round Lipstick Black Cherry is a deep berry red color. I have worn this shade a lot during winters. This particular color would look good on all skintones specially on medium to deeper skintones.

Texture & Formula – Texture of NYX Round Lipstick Black Cherry is buttery smooth. It almost melts when you drag it on lips. Formula is moisturizing and keeps lips comfortable throughout the wear time. It doesn’t settle in fine lines nor accentuates them. Formula is creamy without any shimmer or glitter. I find it a bit too creamy so lining lips with a lip liner is always recommended to prevent the color from bleeding or feathering outside lips.

Pigmentation – NYX Round Lipstick Black Cherry is very pigmented. I need only one swipe to cover the lips however I always apply it twice too get even application.

Staying Power – NYX Round Lipstick Black Cherry stays on for good 6 hours and leaves a tint behind.

Overall Thoughts.

I have always liked NYX Round Lipsticks and have reviewed one more shade Hero HERE. These lipsticks are good value for money. You get good quantity and great quality. Also there are number of shades available to choose from. NYX Round Lipstick Black Cherry will be a great choice for colder months/ fall. Formula is creamy and gives a semi – glossy finish. Staying power is good and Black Cherry survives meal, and leaves a stain behind. The only thing I dislike is the packaging, its cheap and not-sturdy.
