Blessed are those souls who have super duper hair. Well, I guess that’s only an expectation, because I haven’t seen even a single girl in my life without any hair concerns. Be it hair fall, dandruff, thin hair or grey hair we all girls are suffering from one of those. And there are some products which become a staple in our hair care regimen. These are shampoos and hair oils. I still remember when as a kid is used to go to salons for hair cut or hair styling i always sued to see matrix products but I never tried them so one day while I was on a parlour visits and was asking SA as to which shampoo would she recommend for my dry rough hair, she pointed her fingers to Matrix Opti Care Smoothing Shampoo.

And I thought let’s begin my journey with this beauty from the house of Matrix. And thus here comes the review of Matrix opti care Smoothing Shampoo. Read along to know if the shampoo is worth your try or not.
Packaging: This matrix shampoo comes in a slim sized orange bottle. Now, I don’t like orange colours that much but I absolutely love this one without any doubts. The shampoo is medium in size which makes it again travel friendly. The shampoo has a flip flop opening which makes it much easier to work through. The bottle has the product details mentioned on the bottle itself.
Texture: The shampoo is white in colour. The texture is thick so it needs to be diluted with water to get the desired consistency. The shampoo lathers quite well. So, that’s not a major concern. Once diluted you can easily spread the shampoo on your hair.
Let’s first talk about the application part here. Press the bottle a bit so that the shampoo comes out. Take the shampoo in your palm and dilute it with water. Now, apply the diluted shampoo all over your hair. Let the shampoo set for 3-5 minutes. Rinse away the shampoo with water. You can re-apply once again in case you have heavily oiled your hair.
After some time while rinsing away the shampoo your hair will feel very smooth and soft. My hair is mostly quite heavily oiled and this shampoo is quite effective in taking away the oil which I really appreciate. But the fact which I don’t like about this shampoo is that it has caused me some hair fall. I can feel more amount of hair fall after using this shampoo.
Economy wise Matrix Opti Care Smoothing Shampoo on suing thrice a week lasted me for 2 months which is fine for me.
Overall Thoughts
Matrix Opti Care Smoothing Shampoo is a good shampoo but i am upset by the hair fall thing which does not usually happens with me.
