Make Up For Ever makes one of the best makeup products in the world. Be it their foundations or star powders, glitters and lipsticks, all of them are impressive. The shade range in their base makeup is simply amazing and they cater to women of all color. I am reviewing one of their new launches in the HD range which is the Ultra HD Stick Foundation.
Packaging – The stick foundation comes in a very handy twistable stick packaging. The cap also fits perfectly and makes it very travel friendly. The classy black packaging looks really impressive.
Shade – I use the shade 153 which has a strong yellow undertone and matches my NC40-41 skin perfectly. It is a shade lighter than the 153 in the regular HD foundation. I am super glad I found the exact match as the 153 in HD range was a little too yellow for me but I still use it as I love the texture of that foundation.
Texture & Formula – Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Stick Foundation has a very light weight satin texture. It is super easy to apply and blend with fingers or a sponge. I would not recommend this for oily skin as it can tend to be a little greasy at the end of the day. It is great for normal-dry skin as it takes care of the dry patches if any and keeps skin hydrated and healthy while adding a glow.
Pigmentation – It is a full coverage foundation and you would need really little for each use. The stick would last a good 2 years with regular usage. I would not recommend using it on a regular basis though I did not find it clogging my pores or anything. It is a great product in a bridal makeup kit as it photographs really well and gives amazing coverage.
Staying Power – It stays put on my normal skin for 6+ hours and I would need a touch up with a compact after that. It is non drying, not matte but just a satin finish foundation.
The stick itself melts in very hot conditions and in humid places like Chennai, You must be careful about the storage. It gets a little messy inside the tube but its ok as the quality is above my expectations.

Overall Thoughts:
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Stick Foundation is one of the best full coverage foundations with a great coverage and texture. The tiny twistable tube makes it perfect for those on the go. I am certainly adding few more shades into my professional kit.
