The  lipstick shade which am sharing today is one of the hottest selling shades by MAC and especially here in India where we all love MLBB shades for office wear or for casual day time as still Berry’s and Red’s scare most of us and its MAC Twig Lipstick.

Shade – MAC TWIG is described as Soft muted brownish – pink, it is warm toned medium shade of brown pink which have soft mauve tones to it and no wonder it is very flattering shade on our olive skin tone . I find a shade like this a must have in our vanity as it’s easy to wear kind especially if you are very picky about shades then please give this a try . There is no sheen or shimmer in it but as it’s from SATIN finish the shade have this soft satiny feel which sets to pretty velvety matte look afterwards.

Texture & Formula – MAC Twig lipstick is from their SATIN formula which is easy to glide and doesn’t settle in fine lines but it does leave my lips dry after a few hrs of application. I love the texture in spite of the son as the colours are very saturated plus glides nicely.

Pigmentation – MAC Twig is absolutely opaque in 2 swipes covering every bit of corners easily and stays put for hrs. MAC SATIN formula is good if not exceptionally great.

Staying Power – The lipstick manage to stay easily for 4 plus hrs on my lips and leave behind a very soft tint on my lips and if they are not well moisturized there is a sort of dryness due to satin finish .

Overall Thoughts

There is no con as such just that MAC Twig may leave your lips dry afterwards and also the price hike every now and then is absolutely insane thing. I do love this shade and would keep on buying a backup as it is very flattering shade of neutral toned lips.
