I love doing my eye brows and it is one the most important makeup step I never forget before stepping out. Now brow products come in various forms – Gel, Pencils, Pomade, Powders and we can choose whatever suits our requirement. For me it has always been a pencil with a spooli brush preferably. I tried benefit brow pomade couple of months ago and picked Kiko Brow Pomade as well however former was expensive and latter has red undertones. I have been using L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit for a year now and was super excited when the brand launched a pomade. I picked L’Oreal Brow Artist Pomade in Ebony.
Build perfectly defined brows with L’Oreal Paris Brow Artist Pomade for a natural or bold look. Create, define and fill your brows with this highly-pigmented, matte formula that glides on smoothly. The ultra-precise slanted brush allows you to easily create the brows of your dreams! Its longwear formula resists smudging and fading.
Features :
- Buildable look, from natural to bold.
- Longwear formula that resists smudging and fading.
- Built-in slanted brush for an easy, precise application.
Packaging is very similar to Benefit Brow Pomade. A pot with a brush in the cap. The brush is slanted and quite functional. The pot is plastic and quite travel friendly. I did miss a spooly brush though.
Shades – L’Oreal Brow Artist Pomade is available in two shades – Ebony & brunette. Ebony is a dark chocolate quite cool toned color, very close to my natural hair color. It is suitable for indian complexion since most of us have dark browm/ black hair. The color doesn’t look over powering and blends in with my natural brow hair perfectly.
Texture & Formula – L’Oreal Brow Artist Pomade has a creamy texture. You have to be quite careful while taking out the products so that you don’t end up with too much of it on the brows. I take a very little amount each time and create short hair like strokes in the direction of hair growth. In short I follow the natural hair pattern of my brows and just fill in the gaps and bald spaces.
Formula sets and has a matte finish. I like how it doesn’t look overly creamy and easy to work with. Start easy and then build it up if you want stronger looking brows.
Staying Power – Last time I wore it for good 8+ hours without fading. It does stay put even in hot weather. I prefer sealing it with Givenchy Mister Brow which is a brow gel.

Loved your review. I loved the fact that it has a equal balance of waxiness and creaminess
