Shade- Lancome Rose Candy is a very pretty strawberry candy pink. The shade is very girly. It is sheer but sans any shimmer.Packaging- The packaging is luxurious with a black outer cover having Lancôme logo on it. The packaging has a magnetic closure ensuring that the lipstick remains safe and sturdy. The shade name and number is provided at the bottom of the lipstick.

Texture & Formula- Lancome Rose Candy L’ Absolu Nu Lip Colour has a soft and glossy finish. It is creamy and glides on easily. I like the shade as it is very supple. It glide son smoothly. The formula is hydrating providing balm like feel. It is great for chapped lips. The lipstick doesn’t settle in the lip lines neither accentuate them. It is light weight and very comfortable on lips. The shade has very faint fragrance that is very appealing.

Pigmentation- Rose Candy is sheer in a single swipe which can be built up to medium pigmentation with 2-3 swipes. However, it will never provide full coverage. The shade will definitely blur lip imperfections but it cannot conceal them.Staying Power- The shade stays for about 2-2.5 hours on my lips fading evenly. It leaves my lisp soft, supple and very hydrated after it wears off which I really like.

Overall Thoughts

Lancome Rose Candy L’ Absolu Nu Lip Colour is a gorgeous candy pink. It is very girly and a great shade for summers. The shade adds a pop of colour to the face without being OTT. It is balmy and very hydrating. The packaging is luxurious and travel friendly. I use this as a base for other lip shade for added moisture and it works well. It provides a glossy look to lips which is really nice. The pigmentation and staying power is quite less which is a major issue as the lipstick is quite expensive. Other than that, I totally love this shade. I think this shade is more suited for fair to medium skin tone girls.
