Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo Rossetto Lipstick (14) Review Swatches Photos

During the store launch visit of Kiko Milano Delhi I spotted a huge display with gold studded packaging in the front. The display was of the Limited Edition Makeup collection that had lipstick, glosses, powder foundations, eyeshadow palette, bronzers & blushes. The packaging was mesmerising and i could’t resist from buying Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo, which is a lipstick that comes in a limited edition rose gold hourglass shaped case.

Packaging is one of the main highlights of this lipstick. A textures rose gold case that has hourglass style. The cap has a magnetic closing and it doesn’t feel as heavy as it looks. Well it doesn’t feel cheap-light either. The lipstick tube is sleek and has a blunt tip. I was not sure about the formula otherwise I would have picked more shades.

Shade – Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo Rossetto is a pink-brown. The brown tone is prominent and looks beautiful ! I thought this would be a perfect shade for my complexion. I generally prefer such shades as they are versatile and can be worn anytime anywhere. This color would also look good on fairer complexions. I thought this shade is similar to Revlon Ultra HD lipstick Primrose which is another favourite of mine but Rossetto is more pink than that.

Texture & Formula – Lip Stylo has a slick, smooth and butter like texture. It glides on without tugging, also I find it almost gel like and it doesn’t feel as sheer as glossy lipsticks but has a nice glossy finish to it. Formula feels balm like and ver comfortable. I have dry lips and it keeps them comfortable throughout the wear. It doesn’t settle into lip lines and stays put for a long time.

The formula has a slip to it hence using a lip liner would prevent it from moving outside lip lines.

Pigmentation – Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo Rossetto Lipstick is very pigmented and offers even opaque finish is single stroke. I have dark upper lip and it covers the darkness evenly.

Staying Power – Since the formula is very buttery the staying power doesn’t go beyond 4 hours. I didn’t expect it to stay for more than 2 hours but it surprised me !

Overall Thoughts 

The formula surely offers a finish of lipstick, shine of a gloss & comfort of a lip balm. If you have dry lips then this is one range you should explore. Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo Rossetto Lipstick is a beautiful shade that will suit all skin tones especially medium-deeper complexions.
