Johara Cosmetics Review – Expert Pen Eyeliner, Deep Impact Kajal, Creme Rich Lip Color

I love trying new brands & products, and feature them on the blog. This time a new brand has caught my attention – Johara, Johara or ‘jewel’ in Arabic is created on the premise that just like jewelry adorns your natural beauty.

• Johara skin care formulae are free of Parabens, Sulfate, Synthetic Dye or Formaldehyde.
• Their skin care products will always have standardized botanical extracts and will be clinically relevant.
• All our products are dermatologist tested non-irritating and non-sensitizing, just as nature intended and cruelty free.

I was sent couple of makeup products that I have been testing out for over 2 weeks now and would like to share my experience/ thoughts –

Johara Expert Pen Eyeliner – Black (Rs 575 for 1 ml)

Being a mother of a 3 year old, I hardly get time to grab a brush and apply gel eyeliner, sometimes applying a liquid liner gets challenging, however things are much easier with Pen style eyeliner. Due to its convenient design and rubber grip, using and lining eyes with Johara Expert Pen Eyeliner is easy-breezy. Its intense black and applies easily. The formula is quite pigmented and one stroke is enough to draw a line without the need of going back and forth. However its quite runny as compared to other liquid liners, due to which it takes longer to dry on the lids. Staying power is great and on me it stays on for good 6+ hours without fading. Formula is smudge-proof but not water proof. I have worn this Eyeliner HERE

Johara Deep Impact Kajal (Rs 325 for .35 g)

I am not much of a kajal wearer, however for makeup looks I love intense black kajal. Johara Deep Impact Kajal has a neither dry nor too creamy formula. It glides on easily on the water line as well as lash line smoothly without tugging or pulling. My eyes are watery and no kajal stays on for more than 3 hours, this one does stay on the water line for good 2+ hours. Also it doesn’t smudge much and cleans easily.

Johara Creme Rich Color (Rs 395 for 4.5 g)

Johara Creme Rich Color lipsticks are available in 12 shades. I got princess which is a beautiful berry color. Formula is sheer and need couple of swipes to get opaque finish. Texture is buttery and it glides on smoothly. Finish is glossy and the formula keeps lips moisturized throughout the wear. Due to its creamy texture the wear time is low, it stays on for 3+ hours on me.
