Today we are discussing deep cleansing and the product on the test is Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk. Cleansing milks are one of the most trusted makeup cleanser types we get here in India. These oil based lotions are able to dissolve even the waterproof makeup if you know the correct ways to use them.Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk Review Price Photos

Not only that, cleansing milks can do deep pore clean up even better than those pricy K-beauty cleansing balms. The oily nature of cleansing milk easily dissolves the sebum from the pores of your delicate skin.

You just have to use your everyday face wash after that and you’ll be able to mimic a perfectly done salon clean up.

Himalaya’s Cleansing Milk has been there in the Indian market for years now. Even I have used up quite a few bottles of this. Read on to know why Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk is so popular among desi girls!

About Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk

Himalaya’s Refreshing Cleansing Milk contains a special blend of herbs that gently remove dirt, makeup and daily impurities while maintaining your skin’s natural moisture balance.

Lemon, a natural cleanser and astringent, clarifies and refreshes, while Grape Seed rejuvenates, and Mint cools your skin to keep it clear, healthy and radiant.

Packaging: Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk comes in a white plastic bottle with a green flip top cap. The opaque bottle looks quite chic in your vanity. The bottle is quite strong.

I have dropped couple of times by mistake but neither the bottle nor the cap broke. Himalaya has done a great job at mentioning the ingredients for this specific cleansing milk.

You’ll find all the active ingredients along with their weight wise quantity. The inactives and preservatives are also mentioned properly.Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk Review Price Photos

Colour & Consistency: The cleansing milk is milky white in colour and its texture is moderate to runny. The formula is light and non-comedogenic. This dermatologically tested formula does not clog the skin pores.

It does not create the annoying oily film on the face. This is cleansing lotion reminds me of Lakme’s famous Peach range cleansing milk.

Fragrance: It has a mild herbal fragrance. The fragrance is unique. The light smell does not take more than a few minutes to fade off completely.

Quantity & Price: Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk costs Rs.95 for 100ml. This cleanser lotion is alsoavailable in 200ml size but the big pack is rare to see at stores. It is one of the cost effective cleansing milks in the market.

Also, it’s the only under Rs.100 non-comedogenic makeup cleanser in India with ayurvedic formulation. It’s a great budget buy for acne-prone people. You may get it for even lesser at both online and offline.Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk Review Price Photos

My Overall Thoughts

I have been polishing up my makeup skills during the initial days of lockdown. Practising multiple looks every single day takes a toll on your skin. There are chances of getting skin irritations, pimples and other skin issues if you are not removing makeup properly.

I don’t like those wasteful makeup remover wipes. I use coconut oil or this Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk to cleanse my skin. This cleansing milk is extremely light on skin. It does not sit on top of your skin like coconut oil or heavy makeup remover.

I generally take a coin sized product and gently massage it on the skin for a couple of seconds. Then I rub it off with a soft wash cloth. Lastly, I wash my face with my regular face wash. If you have dry skin, you can easily skip the face wash part. Splashing plain water alone will give you a clean and moisturized face.

The light formula removes the base makeup products nicely. It also works great with non-waterproof products. Sadly, it is not very effective on waterproof mascara and liquid lipstick formulas.

The non-comedogenic formula does not cause pimples or clogged pore zits on my face. These are the common issues I have with comedogenic products.
