When it comes to eye makeup , playing with bright eye pencils on my eyes  is what I love in summers  as it can  instantly make you look fresh and awake . Emerald green, royal blues and teals are my personal favorite colors apart from black . I have always loved elf brand as it is a super affordable brand  which provides supreme quality products in good range. Attached with a good price tag  I could not stop myself purchasing E.L.F Shimmer Eye Pencil Twinkle Teal . Lets see how it turned .

Packaging :- E.l.f shimmer eye pencil  are sparkly  wooden pencils which has a plastic  sharpener cap  . Each pencil is colored according to shade of the eye pencil. Overall i like the packaging ,  it looks simple and cute .

Shade:- I personally love teals when it comes to eyeliners , twinkle teal is a greenish dark teal color which is incorporated with silver glitter . It’s a  vibrant metallic teal eye pencil which has fine shimmer in it , I love the way it immediately brighten up the whole look.

Pigmentation & texture:- The eye pencils are pretty decently pigmented  . Twinkle teal has a creamy texture  which glides on smoothly . I love the fact that liner is quite easy to work with as it has creamy texture to it. Since it’s a pretty metallic eye pencil and is super smooth , it can be easily used as a solo eyeshadow or like an eyeshadow base . They do not feel uncomfortable on the eyes, so one can easily wear this on upper or lower water line .

Staying power:- Coming to the sad part , its not a water proof liner  but they do stay for 3 hours and if used underneath a primer , its wear time can be extended . One can also set this liner with a eyeshadow to make it intact all day . For oily lids it becomes mandatory to set this eyeliner pencil with an eyeshadow  as it might vanish within  2-  3 hours .But using this eyeliner pencil as an eyeshadow base would make your colored eyeshdows pop out to the extreme , no complains as it has really soft creamy texture .

Overall Thoughts

With a dollar price tag , I am impressed with the texture and the super gorgeous shade of E.L.F Shimmer Eye Pencil Twinkle Teal , I have been wearing this eyeliner pencil a lot lately and would definitely love to try another vibrant shades from this metallic eye pencils from E.L.F . The sad part is that its not a waterproof liner . Anyway for just 1 dollar I loved all the other points in it .
