What happens when you buy too many pinks and plums and reds? You start looking for different shades, even if you have to go out of your comfort zone. I am not a brown or coral lover but decided to go with Nude Coral shade from this range.
Shade – Colorbar Crème Touch Lipstick Nude Coral is a beautiful Coral Brown color. Its a beautiful color that would almost all skin tones.
Texture & Formula – Colorbar Crème Touch has been my favorite formula and I have already tried “Jewel Pink” from this range. Texture of Colorbar Nude Coral is buttery smooth. It glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. Formula is creamy and gives a glossy finish. It feels comfortable on dry lips like mine and doesn’t settle in fine lines or accentuate them. It comes with SPF 15, so that means some protection from harmful UV rays.
Pigmentation – Colorbar Creme Touch Range has sheer formulas. Some of them are very sheer and others give medium coverage. Colorbar Nude Coral provides medium to opaque finish. You can wear it sheer or build up the coverage by layering up the formula.
Staying Power – Due to its sheer creamy formula, Colorbar Nude Coral doesn’t stay on for more than 3-4 hours. It survives mild snacking but goes away completely if you decide to go for full course meal.
Negative points would be sheer formula/ coverage.
Overall Thoughts
I like Colorbar Creme Touch range for their moisturizing glossy formulas. There are 30+ colors to choose from and is affordable too. Colorbar Nude Coral is a beautiful shade that isn’t too coral or brown, but somewhere in between. I would recommend this shade to everyone who is looking for a wearable daily wear shade.
