Catrice Under Treasure (040) Liquid Metal Eyeshadow Review

I am not an eye shadow girl but my late night movies had given me dark areas around my eyes. You might think that it is dark circles but no it is dark eye lids actually. I don’t have any dark circle issue but darker eyelids have taken all the attention away from my face. Everyone feels that I have applied eye shadows even when I haven’t. I have even taken medical advice for this. But they haven’t suggested anything other than medical prescription. So, I thought that I should opt for some natural skin colour eye shadows so that I could hide my darker eyelids and picked Catrice Under Treasure (040) Liquid Metal Eyeshadow.

Packaging : Catrice Under Treasure Liquid Metal Eyeshadow has a complete fuss free packaging. It comes in a black lid with transparent lid at the top. The transparent enables you to see the colour of the eye shadow. At the back side of the lid there is entire packaging details and that is descriptive yet enough informative for the users.

Texture & Formula : The texture of the eye shadow is matte in nature. Actually it is a bit harder. But it has lots of sparkles in it.

My Experience

I was looking for something which would be apt as my daily wear eye shadow and when the SA tried this on my eyelids it really looked wow and so I went ahead with this one. But afterwards I saw since it has lots of sparkles on it you can use it only on specific occasions and not as a regular wear. Also, the sparkle is quite evident at the day time. It is perfect for the night time if you want to go for a nude makeup look. Also, this forms a good base for other eye shadows too. It stays also for a  good amount of time. It easily survives 4-5 hours.

Now, coming to some of the not so good points of this eye shadow. It had massive fallout issues. So, you can very easily see some of the sparkles stuck in your eye lashes. But the eye shadow stays on for a good amount of time.

Overall Thoughts

I don’t like Catrice Under Treasure Liquid Metal Eyeshadow. Normally, I am not an eye shadow girl. But this sparkly and blingy thing on my eye lids is really not for me. Also, the fallout issue is too much to try.
