Shade – I am reviewing  Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner in Chocolate Truffle. I am not much of a Brown Eyeliner person but yes there are days when I want to look awake without stark black eye- lining and that’s when brown liner comes handy. Chocolate Truffle is a medium chocolate brown eye liner that looks really nice against my complexion.

Texture & Formula – Texture of Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner is very buttery smooth and it does feel like a gel. Eye liner glides on so smoothly without tugging or pulling. Its a matte formula with no shimmers or glitters. Formula is waterproof and long wearing but not entirely smudge-proof. I accidently rubbed my eyes and it got bit smudged. Having said that it doesn’t transfer to eye lid or moves around on its own.

Pigmentation – Its chocolate brown but kind of light color-wise. I thought it would be a deep dark chocolate brown but its medium in intensity. However I like the color and intensity. Very wearable to work , meetings or interviews.

Staying Power – Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner stays on for good 7+ hours. It fades a bit from the edges after 6 hours of so but nothing too noticeable. Eyeliner doesn’t transfer or smudge (Until you decide to rub your eyes). Retractable packaging makes it user and travel friendly.

Overall Thoughts

I am really impressed with the texture & soft buttery formula of Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner. Chocolate Truffle is a great shade to wear to work or just running around. It has pretty impressive staying power without smudging or transferring.
