Amazon Fashion Squad Bus at Cyber City #KyaPehnu
If you have read my previous makeover post you would know what I am referring to. I followed Amazon Fashion Squad Bus which reached Cyber City gurgaon. Cyber hub is a bustling place with all the young crowd from the offices its surrounded with. The bus was there whole day (1-9 pm) and offered makeovers to all those who reached out to the squad with their #KyaPehnu queries.
The bus was well equipped with fashion accessories, clothes, makeup & hair styling kit. It was plush and air conditioned, with a star vanity van feel to it. It wasn’t big however good enough to fit in couple of people. There were clothes hung on a stand outside the bus and the stylist chose and did makeovers with.
Sarthak the stylist started with asking few basic questions on the fashion style & preferences and accordingly styled people. Then they moved on to the next step, which was getting their face & hair done by other members of the squad.
By the evening I could see onlookers gathering around the bus with curious faces. The team explained the concept to everyone who approached. I was surprised to see so many faces that bombarded the squad with their fashion/ styling dilemmas.
It was one of a kind experience for me and of course for all those who approached the squad and got their makeovers/ styling issues sorted. Amazon had these Fashion SOS buses running in other two metros as well – Bangalore & Mumbai , where 2 celebrities did the makeovers – Miss Malini & Ayushman Khurana. In delhi Milind Soman met and answered queries of Disha, who won a contest on Fever 104 and got styled by Milind Soman personally.
