Ponytail is quite an easy hairstyle to maintain. They match almost all outfits and are flattering on a majority. While it is an easy hairstyle to do, there are a few hacks that you need to know to amplify your signature ponytail look!

1. Tease– Backcombing the hair will add a lot of oomph to the whole look. The more the height of your crown section the more elongated your face will look. A flat crown area won’t look good on any face shape. So tease a bit of that crown section before tying up.
2. Hairspray – In order to keep that crown area always poufed up, spray on some hair setting spray only on the crown area after backcombing. For the rest of the day, you will be sorted!
3. High pony – The pony will look better if it has some height. In order to maintain that height where the hair band is tied, insert few bobby pins. This will strengthen the pony and give it more structure.
4. Perfect high pony– This fashionable hairstyle looks improved if you position the pony in the best way. The ideal way is to imagine a line, starting from the ends of your eye to the ear to the head, The last point will be the area where your high pony will look the best.
5. Fill the gaps– Not everyone is blessed with the thick hair on the front section. It might happen that the crown section might witness some thin hair spots and they are not flattering!
