Sometime back I have posted about Za which is wholly-owned subsidiary of Shiseido India Private Limited. Za True White Range was launched in India last month. I have been trying and testing Za True White Day Cream for over 6 weeks now and will be reviewing the same today.

Za True White features three best whitening ingredients – Revolutionary 4MSK Formula penetrates deep within the skin to diminish the formation of excessive melanin, reduce blemishes & dark spots that are visible on the surface giving an even-toned radiance.

Za True White Day Cream comes in a white plastic jar. Cream is white and has a slight gel texture to it. I take twice a pea size amount and spread it over my face and neck and massage gently until its absorbed. I like how the formula is light weight and yet quite moisturizing, however it wouldn’t be moisturizing enough for me during winters.

Za True White Day Cream comes with SPF 20 PA++ which is always a huge plus for me. I prefer moisturizers with some SPF content even for indoors. It has a mild scent to it which isn’t bothersome and fades after a minute or so.

I generally don’t believe in “Skin Whitening & lightening” concept neither do I promote them in any way, however if a cream claims to fade pigmentation or acne marks , I am always interested. Over past few years acne has left me with with lots of red, brown spots on my jawline and I always look for products that claim to take care of dark spots. Also remember its not easy for a  cream to lighten your skin tone more than its original color (complexion without tan). In most of the cases creams work on suntan and remove it, so the skin looks lighter and brighter than before.

I have been using it for one and a half month now and I can see it working on acne marks and discoloration. When I look closely in the mirror, the brown spots have faded to a great extent and skin looks more even.

Overall Thoughts

Za True White day cream is a light weight day time moisturizer that comes with SPF 20 PA++. Cream doesn’t feel greasy and provides adequate amount of moisture to my skin. It hasn’t broken me out whatsoever and has worked really well on acne marks and pigmentation. You only need twice a pea size amount for your face & neck, that’s the reason why even after using it for over 6 weeks, I still have half of it left in the jar. I find this product promising and would love to try other products from this range.
