I have talked about my crazy skin numerous times, that it has  a mood of its own. One day its dry and patchy and oily & bumpy the next. I look for a moisturizer that is gel based, non -greasy and light weight. That can provide adequate amount of hydration without clogging pores. I recently started using Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel and loving it totally !

Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel comes in this cute pink tube with a flip top. Formula, as the name suggest is a gel. These days the weather here in Delhi is humid and hot, and as a result I get occasional breakouts around tea zone and along the jawline. I avoid applying moisturizer but if I don’t apply moisturizer , are around my nose and cheeks get dry patches.

Its been almost 2 weeks now since I am using Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel  and love how light weight and hydrating it feels on the skin. I love using it in the night over a serum. Gel immediately sinks into the skin leaving it supple and moist without feeling greasy.

Another good way of using it is under the makeup. I sweat a lot if I apply moisturizer before doing my makeup and if I don’t the makeup doesn’t go on smoothly. So this product comes really handy in such situations. 

My acne prone sensitive skin is reacting well to this gel. I haven’t experienced breakouts after using it, infact it keeps my face hydrated for good 4-5 hours without the need of reapplication.

Those who have very dry skin may have to reapply or use it with a hydrating serum since it doesn’t provide intense moisture to the skin. Formula is perfect for Oily/ combination skin in my opinion.

Overall Thoughts

I really like the light weight, non-sticky feel of Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel. The product moisturizes without clogging pores or making skin shiny. If you are looking for a gel based moisturizer which is light, than do give this one a try.
