YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Orange Impertinent (Rs 1900 for 4.5 gm) can be purchased from Ysl counter.I am a big fan of peach coral lip colors and when I saw this shade, I instantly fell in love with it. It is so warm and adds a nice glow to face.

YSL Claims: ‘Give in to the temptation of dazzling color. Succumb to a unique sensorial experience with extreme comfort and luminous shine. Hyaluronic-acid microspheres help seal in moisture for eight hours of hydration. Antioxidants and emollients help condition and soften lips. Available in a variety of irresistibly fresh shades.’

Shade – YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Orange Impertinent is a gorgeous orange with slight pink-red undertones. It comes out on the warmer side and will compliment all skin tones very well. The shade is sans any shiner but very glossy.

Packaging- YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick has a classy heavy golden packaging which speaks for the brand it is. Ysl logo in the centre along with shade indication looks all the more attractive. The packaging is sturdy and easy to carry. Shade name is provided at the bottom.

Texture & Formula – The texture of the lipstick is smooth and glossy. It glides on like butter as it is very soft. The formula is very hydrating and moisturising. It softens dry skin on lips and doesn’t accentuate them. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Orange Impertinent is light weight and comfortable to wear. The lipstick has mild fruity fragrance which is pleasant and fades after few seconds on application. It doesn’t form layers or gather at the corners of the lips even if over applied. It has glossy finish which provides wet look to lips and makes them appear all the more healthy.

Pigmentation – YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Orange Impertinent is decently pigmented. Though it is glossy and looks semi-sheer in swatch, it is able to cover lip properly. One swipe imparts decent amount of shade that can be built up further to full coverage. It is always comfortable on lips and very glossy.

Staying Power – It stays for about 3-4 hours on my lips. The glossiness of the shade goes away but it leaves a strong reddish-coral tint which stays for about 2 hours.

Overall Thoughts

I am hooked over this shade and the formula. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Orange Impertinent is so hydrating and the shade is definitely as beauty that can be worn by anyone. The packaging is class apart and so is the formula. I highly recommend trying this range. The price is higher but it is totally worth the splurge.
