Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer Review Swatches Photos Price

One of my most favourite products is the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer from the brand. Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer Review Swatches Photos Price

I recently purchased some eyeshadows and wanted an eye primer so that they turn up better on my eyes. I was looking for a good affordable and came across this Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer and immediately decided to pick it up. So, here I am sharing with you what I feel about it.

Product description:

Looking for the perfect primer that preps and brightens eyelids to lockdown eyeshadow color all day? The Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer by Wet n Wild is the answer. This primer features smooth, effortless application that dries to a clear finish and keeps eye makeup in place. Finally, an end to eye-makeup worries!

Packaging:

The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer comes in a small plastic white coloured tube with a black cap. The tube is compact enough and has a small nozzle which gives me enough control over the amount of product I want to dispense. Overall, the tube is much easy to work with and I can easily apply the amount of primer I want.

Features:

  • Preps and brightens the eyelids.
  • Makes the eyeshadow last all day.
  • Provides for easy application of the eyeshadow.

Texture and formula:

The primer is creamish white in colour and is much thick in consistency. But when I apply it on my eyes it applies smooth and doesn’t feel heavy at all. And the eyeshadows show up well too on my eyes and stay true to their colours when I apply the primer underneath.

Price:

The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer retails for ₹499 for 10 ml which is fair enough. The brand is much affordable and of good quality, so I feel this primer is cost effective. Also, only a little amount of the product is required so I believe it would last for a good time.

Staying power:

When I applied the primer on my eyelids for the first time, my eye makeup stayed in place for about 4 hours. However, after some time the primer started to crumble, and the eyeshadow looked patchy. Even though the eyeshadow colours popped out really well, the fact that it doesn’t last long and starts to settle into the crease and crumble up makes me think twice before using it.

My overall thoughts:

This primer is good enough to wear when I don’t have a long day to go or just for a shorter period of time. But on the days when I want my eye makeup to stay put throughout the day, the primer doesn’t do its job well and starts to move from its place. I am not a big fan of such products when it comes to eyeshadow primers since I would like if it lasted for a slightly longer time and stayed in place, just like many of my face primers.

The only good thing is that it helps my eyeshadows to stay true to their colours and makes them pop up on my eyes. They look more beautiful when I apply them on the primer. Only if it crumbled less and stayed for a good time, I would have reached out to it more often. But it is not that bad if you are looking for a good affordable eyeshadow primer. It might work well for you!
