Packaging – As you can see the packaging is simple. It looks almost like Revlon Photoready Concealer Its basic black plastic case with a transparent cap.
Shades – Purty Persimmon is a beautiful orange shade with hint of red, surprisingly it looked amazing on me. It isn’t awkwardly bright and can be carried off easily. Cherry picking is a deep berry pink shade which looks quite close to MAC Rebel, though its a bit light.
Texture & Formula – The formula is semi matte with slight creamy finish. These glide on smoothly without tugging or pulling, though when I tried them for the first time, the formula was bit hard and I dragged it on my lips, but once it warms up, application becomes smooth. Despite of being semi-matte, the formula is quite comfortable on lips. None of them have shimmers. None of Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks settle in fine lines or accentuate them.
Pigmentation – Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks are superbly pigmented. One swipe is all you need. The swatches shown above are also one swipe of the lipsticks. These cover lips evenly and give opaque finish, which is creamy
Staying Power – Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks Purty Persimmon & Cherry Picking stay on for good 4 hours and then fade away, they leave strong tint behind, which is a plus in my eyes, since you wouldn’t be left with bare lips.
Overall Thoughts
I loved these Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks, both the shades are gorgeous and will compliment all complexions. Formula glides easily and gives even coverage in single swipe. Finish is creamy and even after hours of wearing the formula doesn’t feel drying or turns patchy. These are budget friendly and have excellent quality. I wish wet n wild comes to India soon.
