My skin is dry and has become acne & pimple prone, to my surprise. I had clear skin through out my teen years but now in late twenties i can see acne on jawline and one pimple & white head here and there. These were the signs through which my skin was begging to change the routine. I was looking for a moisturizer which can provide hydration + let my skin breathe + can help me getting rid of these breakouts. I searched a lot and finally zeroed on Vichy NORMADERM Tri-Activ Anti-Imperfection Care Day & Night CreamVichy’s Normaderm Range is for sensitive acne prone skin.I have started using both day & night care almost 20 days ago …Here is my take on the day cream (I wanted to review both in this post but it would have made the post painfully long)

I love the packaging. The outlet (not able to fix the correct term) is so narrow that no matter how hard you accidentally squeeze, you never gonna get too much of product in your hands.. so no wastage 🙂 ..

NORMADERM Tri-Activ Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care is an all-in-one daily-use care to: treat imperfections, provide 24 hour hydration and leave a long lasting matte finish. Its unique Hydra Peeling technology is a new association of 3 peeling ingredients in daily hydrating care (salicyclic acid, glycolic acid, LHA). LHA is a patented ingredient that helps gently micro-exfoliate the surface of the skin for a smoother surface and uniform complexion. Purifying salicylic acid targets pores and helps break down blackheads and whiteheads by gently microexfoliating the top layer of skin and clearing blocked pores. Glycolic acid naturally neutralises bacteria that cause imperfections. The three ingredients are combined in a hydrating emulsion-gel texture that is quickly absorbed into the skin and provides a matte finish.

Results

I agree with each word except 24 hour hydration. Despite of using it I feel my skin stretchy and dry. I am using L’Oreal Hydrafresh Deep Boosting Essence underneath. Also I don’t have large/ visible pores so can’t commit on pore minimization thing..

My Experience
My skin has definitely seen improvement after using this religiously. Don’t spot pimples & White heads everyday, but yes one here and there can be forgiven. However acne on the jawline has decreased, not completely cured. What I think is prolonged use of this would help in future.

Positives
The best part is the matte look it gives, and how light it feels on skin. Rub in circular motions and it sinks into the skin in seconds.
Pimples + White heads + acne has reduces considerably.
Skin surface is visibly smooth.

Drawback
Despite of its 24 hour hydration claims, i have to use a hydrating serum or else my skin feels stretchy though its not visible.
The acne has not gone completely.

Overall thoughts
One can not expect miracles no matter what a lotion/cream claims. Every girl should follow CTM routine without fail to prepare skin to absorb the maximum out of the product. Vichy NORMADERM Tri-Activ Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care is recommended to girls with pimple/ shine prone skin.
