For me finding a right cleanser is always a challenge. My skin is – Dry, Combination, acne prone & sensitive, every thing that you wouldn’t want. My worst nightmare is dry and stretchy skin after wash. And finding a face wash which can actually deliver its claims, prevention of acne and non-irritating ingredient list. I have tried a number of Face Washes For Acne Prone Skin but not many of them proved to be useful. So this time when I bought Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel , I decided to pick 100 ml tube, just to give it a shot, and see if it really works.

Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel 100 ml is a tube pack, where as 200 ml is a pump bottle, which is any day convenient over a squeeze tube. However I have poured this tube in empty pump bottle 🙂

The formula is translucent green quite runny cleanser. It foams up nicely and removes traces of oil & dirt from the face. I don’t expect a face wash to remove my makeup, because that’s not what its meant for, unless it claims that. I use Sephora Cleansing Oil to remove makeup and after that a pump or pea size amount of Vichy Cleanser is all I need. It foams up and washes off easily without leaving slippery feel behind.

I have been using Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel for almost a month now and this product has surely won my heart. I haven’t broken out ever since except one or two breakouts during that time of the month.. which is a miracle ! I use it twice a day – morning & night. It doesn’t make my skin dry or stretchy.

Overall Thoughts

By far the best face cleanser for acne prone skin. Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel  has surely won my heart. I am surely grabbing the larger pack this time, though 100 ml tube will last you good 6-8 weeks at least.
