I never liked products that claim to make you fair, because they are misleading, however if a product claims to control melanin production, then I am for sure in. I received Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Emulsion 2 months ago and tried it for 2 days and observed some bumps around my mouth, that almost looked like an allergic reaction. I stopped using it. After good one month, I started using it again and realised that the reaction wasn’t caused by this product. Something else was causing it.

My skin is sensitive dry-combination which is acne prone, quite an interesting combination right? I get occasional breakouts and have uneven skintone around my mouth & forehead. I don’t want to go to dermatologist for every skin concern, hence decided to give this product a go.

As per the directions written on the back one can use Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Emulsion once/ twice a day after cleaning the face. I use it during the day, under my moisturizer/ sunscreen. One pump is all you need for your face & neck. Texture is gel like and it feels almost watery on the skin, absorbing instantly and disappearing without leaving any residue behind. I like its mild scent also.

One thing I would like to share, if you are planning on buying this or any other brightening product, make sure to wear a sunscreen during the day.

I have been using it for 4 weeks now and have seen a lot of difference in my skintone. Due to sickness & medications, my skin used to look dull & a lot more uneven. Ever since I have started using it, my face has become brighter , acne spots have faded & overall tone looks quite even.

No matte how much you try, if you have acne prone skin, one or two breakouts are bound to happen during the month. Some of the leave nasty dark spots which take their own time to fade and most of the times don’t fade at all. Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Emulsion has surely lightened lot of scars around my jawline, where I breakout mostly.
