With the temperature soaring , the need for special products to minimise its effect on the skin become a necessity. I have dry – combination skin which is acne prone and finding a sunscreen that doesn’t feel heavy is a challenge. I like formulas that are mattifying and light weight and during that quest I came across Vichy Ideal Soleil Spf 50 Mattifying Face Fluid Dry Touch. I have tried a number of Vichy products in past and loved them.

Vichy Ideal Soleil Spf 50 Mattifying Face Fluid Dry Touch comes in a bright orange tube with a flip top cap. The product is white in color and has a creamy texture. Formula is perfect for combination to oily skin since it doesn’t make face greasy or oily. I take a coin size amount of the fluid and apply it all over the face and neck half an before stepping out of the house.
Sunscreen has a light floral scent which doesn’t bother me much, and is way better than regular sunscreen scents (strong chemical like). Formula is suitable for sensitive skin and works perfectly for my acne prone skin. It doesn’t break me out or cause irritation. Also another good thing about the product is that it doesn’t leave a white cast/ film on the skin that generally most of the sunscreens do.
Also this is a mattifying but non-drying formula so if you have dry- combination skin it wouldn’t highlight dry patches on your skin, which is my main concern while using mattifying sunscreens. I don’t like to use moisturiser under sunscreen during summers and this works perfectly in that case. Also I have observed that it is sweat proof and doesn’t go away when you sweat under the sun.
It offers very high protection against sun damage, brown spots and premature sun ageing.

If you are looking for best sunscreen for Acne prone sensitive skin then Vichy Ideal Soleil Spf 50 Mattifying Face Fluid Dry Touch is a perfect product. Formula is mattifying and suitable for oily skin as well. It doesn’t leave a white cast and offers high protection from sun.
