Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask Review Photos Price India

Vichy is one of the most trusted and reputed skincare brand globally. I love their Aqualia Thermal range which is meant for dry skin. I have couple of favourites like Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa, which is a permanent product in my skincare routine and I use it atleast twice a week. Recently the brand launched Double Glow Peel mask. I thought it is a peel off mask, but to my surprise it is a chemical peel that has AHAs from 5 plants extracts. I was very excited to test it out.

The Double Glow Peel Mask has a double peel action and consists of AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) from 5 plant extracts for chemical peeling supplemented with a mechanical exfoliation with volcanic rocks to reveal fresher and brighter skin tone. The Mask peels off the dead cells, eliminates impurities, hydrates your skin giving it a brighter tone. Enriched with Vichy Thermal Spring water, which tends to soothe and hydrate your complexion, along with brightening Vitamin CG, your skin looks and feels visibly radiant with every use. It’s definitely a go to product for a quick fix before any occasion.

Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask comes in a glass jar with a plastic lid. The jar feels bulky and honestly I would have preferred a tube packaging.

The mask is a salmon colored gel with fine granules that aid exfoliation. As directed i use it on clean face and leave on for 5-7 minutes. I was quite frightened the first time I used it, because of the “peel” word. My skin is very sensitive and reacts badly if something doesn’t suit it. Thankfully I didn’t feel anything , it stayed on my face without irritating it.

I could feel a little tingling around my nose and thats all. I waited for 5 minutes and then gently massaged it in circular motions. The volcanic rocks are fine and non-gritty, they work amazingly as an exfoliator. Well peeling helps in getting rid of dead cells so you don’t have to go heavy handed while exfoliating. You can totally skin this step if you have left the Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask for 5-7 minutes.

Now coming to the experience, I LOVE the results. My skin looked smoother and brighter just after first use which is surprising. I use it not more than once a week and it has done wonders for my dry flaky skin. I no longer see dry patches and texture looks smoother. I have been using it for more than 2 months now, which means I have used it more than 8 times. You wouldn’t need more than twice a pea size amount for face and neck , so this one jar will last you 4-6 months atleast.

Overall Thoughts

I am in LOVE with Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask. It definitely improves the texture from first use. Skin appears brighter and smoother, also it takes care of rough dry patches as well as dullness.
