Most Used Makeup Products This Month

I don’t do monthly favourites posts simply because I don’t wear much makeup. But there are days when I do, whether to attend an event or wedding/party, this month these are the products I have reached out for. I am sure with summers almost here, my preferences will change.

Lets start from the base, I will link each product to its review.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation – This is hands down my favorite foundation. I love it purely because its light weight, shade matches me perfectly and staying power is great ! I was expecting it to be drying but the formula is neither drying nor greasy.

MAC Prolongwear Concealer NW 35 & YSL Touche Eclat – I mix these two to get my perfect under-eye concealer shade. MAC NC 35 is slightly dark for me and YSL Touche Eclat is a bit light, I mix them together and the result is always outstanding. Long wearing creassless formula that has highlighting properties too.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Medium Dark – This is a light weight mineral powder from MAC that i use to set my foundation. It doesn’t add extra layers and thus my makeup never looks cakey. Its been 2 years I am using it and now its time to throw it away and buy a new one.

MAC Mocha Blush – Mocha is my favorite blush. It looks absolutely natural on me and I can rock it with any lip color. Its the safest blush option for me. Matte formula and good staying power.

Bobbi Brown Cognac Eyeshadow – Can you ever go wrong with soft brown smokey eye? This is one shade I wear most of the times purely because of rich color and amazing staying power. Formula is buttery and color looks really good against my complexion.

Colorbar i-Glide Eye Pencil in Blackout – This is my favorite pencil eyeliner for soft smudged smokey look. I wear it on my waterline too and its stays on for really long time without smudging. This is one product I will repurchase !

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner – There are those days when I don’t feel like wearing eyemakeup and simply lining eyes makes me look awake. I like this felt tip liner because its pigmented, stays on for a long time and easy to use.

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara – This was a sample I received sometime back and have been addicted to it ever since. It makes my sparse lashes look voluminous and long. Formula stays on for fairly long time without smudging or flaking! The only thing that is keeping me from buying full size is the price. Its pretty expensive.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Grape Juice – If you love Plum-pink color this one can be a great choice. Revlon Grape Juice is similar to shades like MAC Amorous & Shiseido RS745
