The product which I am sharing today from my favourite eye shadow palette brand – URBAN DECAY is their single eye shadow, I know they are famous for their palettes but it ok a plunge and picked their single eye shadow pan last month which is a latest launch and the shade is – Urban Decay Fireball
Urban Decay Fireball Eye Shadow (1.5 gm for $ 18)
Shade – Urban Decay FIREBALL is described as PEACH with PINK Shift, it is fantastic duo chrome shade in pan, a warm toned golden yellow peachy pink shade and has this stunning duo chrome frosty metallic finish to it, the shade is very flattering and pairs well with any shade and I find this will suit all skin tones easily . When I first saw this shade it did scared me that what if it won’t suit me? But surprisingly, it did work out nicely and didn’t make me look odd.
Texture – The texture of Urban Decay eyeshadow is buttery, creamy soft and really blend able and buildable, it doesn’t feel powdery at all and is a breeze to work even for a novice like me. I wish they launch these in palette form; this is the latest offering for SPRING 2015 by UD in single pan.
Pigmentation – The pigmentation is really great and it is almost opaque in 2 layers and looks lush and rich. I always apply a good primer underneath so that the colour pops up but this shade was still okay without primer underneath.
Staying power – The staying power with primer underneath is somewhere between 7 – 8 hrs and it still hold up the colour pretty well and fades slightly .
Packaging – The product comes in a single pan with gunmetal shiny packaging and is easy to carry around, plus it feels sturdy also and at the same time it is light weight. We all have a habit of carrying around a palette everywhere and hence a pan at times may not be practical at times.
Overall Thoughts
I adore Urban Decay Fireball Eye Shadow to death! It is pure gorgeousness in pan and on eyes it transforms to wonderful duo chrome shade plus works wonderfully well with many shades and hence I highly recommend you to try this.
