To Twirl Or Not To Twirl ft Sangria Skater Dress

Well where should I start from. Let’s start from understanding fashion and what it means to me. For me its being comfortable and representing your inner self , almost like makeup. We all have a different style and sense. Being someone in early thirties I find it really difficult to change the way I am accustomed to dress for the past 3 decades. The judgements and looks others give, mattered a lot until recently. Though My mother always pushes me to try out something new, change the way I dress. I owe it to her basically, strange right , how everyone has someone who inspire them to be different. Well this post isn’t about mother’s day but my decision of buying First Ever dress. After going through gazillion styles on Jabong, I finally found my perfect dress which is Sangria Skater Dress.

This is a Round Neck Cap Sleeves Printed Skater Dress. I love cotton fabric, since it has a shape of its own and very comfortable for summers. I like block or handprinted fabrics, the touch of indian-ness. The style is high-low and that what adds the edge to this gorgeous dress.

I carried this dress during my staycation at Vivanta By Taj Sirajkund. With a kid you can’t carry too many things (coming from my personal experience) since half of your luggage will be filled with her clothes, shoes, toys 😐 Well I would love to team the dress with a pair of heels (only if i could walk in one) or flats. You evolve with time right ? When I look back and see the way I used to dress up, it makes me cringe. Nor that I am a fashionista now, but its just that the choices I made weren’t appealing. Thank god now it is less disastrous now.

Now that I am in love with Sangria Skater Dress , the fabric is quite thick and doesn’t fall on your body like a satin or georgette dress would do, which makes it fail-proof. The belt has beautiful embroidery and mirror work and you can tie it as per your comfort. The neck style is good for beginners like me who can’t take risk with cleavage lines showing at the wrong moment.

I hope you enjoyed reading through my (rant) Outfit post. I will be doing them in this way only, with a piece of my mind and all the thought that went into buying one. Also special shoutout to my dear husband who has taken up photography for me , and taught me how to pose calmly sitting on the edge of a bathtub 😛

You can buy Sangria Skater Dress from Jabong HERE. I am wearing size ‘S’.
